Cross-country pursuit ends in churches

On Saturday morning, the PI Betzdorf was asked by the Siegen police for assistance in a pursuit in the early morning hours. A man, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, was driving his car from the former disco "OX" in Freudenberg towards Kirchen.
The completely drunk and presumably also drug-impaired car driver was finally stopped and checked in Kirchen. An alcohol test showed a level of 1.74 per mille. The 23-year-old's driver's license was retained. In addition, he can expect several criminal charges. Several patrol cars from the Altenkirchen, Siegen and Betzdorf police forces were involved in the pursuit. Fortunately, no one was endangered or injured during the pursuit.
