Lingen - VW caught fire

The fire department and police were alerted to an incident on Rehtränke Street in Lingen on Thursday at around 11:27 pm. For reasons yet to be determined, a VW van caught fire in the engine compartment.
The fire subsequently spread to adjacent garbage cans, a wooden shed, and the roof of a garage. Thanks to the quick intervention of the fire department, which was on site with 13 vehicles and 66 personnel, greater damage was prevented. The four residents of the house remained unharmed. The total damage is estimated at around 50,000 euros.
