Osterholz DistrictDriving under the influence of drugsSchwanewede - On Saturday morning, officers from the Osterholz police conducted a general traffic check on Zum Marktplatz street. During the check, it was found that the 27-year-old driver from Bremen was driving his car under the influence of narcotics.
A blood sample was taken from the driver and he was prohibited from continuing his journey. A misdemeanor procedure was initiated against the 27-year-old.

Driving under the influence of alcohol and without insurance on a stolen E-Scooter

Osterholz-Scharmbeck - Late Saturday evening, a 19-year-old driver of an E-Scooter was checked. During the traffic check, it was found that there was no insurance for the E-Scooter and that the E-Scooter was stolen. In addition, a voluntary breath alcohol test showed a value of 0.74 per mille for the 19-year-old. The driver now faces several criminal proceedings. The E-Scooter was seized.

Burning of tree cuttings

Schwanewede - On Saturday around 1:30 pm, several residents noticed smoke development on Blumenthaler Street and alerted the fire department and the police. The emergency services finally found that a 45-year-old man from Bremen was burning wet tree cuttings and branches on his property. The fire was extinguished by the fire department. A misdemeanor procedure was initiated against the perpetrator.
