Fire at two semi-detached houses in Stralsund

The fire subsequently spread to the adjacent semi-detached house. All residents were able to be evacuated in time. One person was slightly injured and taken to the hospital on suspicion of smoke inhalation. Involved in the operation were the colleagues of the Stralsund professional fire brigade and the Stralsund volunteer fire brigade. According to initial findings, a fire broke out on the top floor of the first semi-detached house for reasons that are still unclear. Both semi-detached houses are currently uninhabitable and damage amounting to approximately 500,000 euros has occurred. A fire cause investigator will be deployed and the investigations will be taken over by the Stralsund criminal police.
