Witness appeal following suspicion of arson in Ratzeburg

On 24.12.2024 at around 23:45, several callers reported that they had heard explosion sounds and felt a shock wave.

Subsequently, a fast food restaurant was on fire. The fire was then extinguished by the fire department that was called in. No one was injured in the incident.

The criminal police are investigating on suspicion of arson, as third-party negligence cannot be ruled out at this point in time.
