Traffic accident in Zetel - Initiation of an investigation for drunkenness

On Sunday, a 73-year-old man from Zetel turned his Ford car to the right onto Wehdestraße from Am Wall street around 4:00 pm. In doing so, he veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a Ford car driven by a 33-year-old woman from Zetel.
During the accident investigation, it was determined that the 73-year-old was under the influence of alcohol. A test revealed a value of 2.17 per mille, so the officers ordered a blood sample to be taken, initiated criminal proceedings, and confiscated the driver's license.
