Hit and Run Traffic AccidentAn as yet unidentified road user damaged a properly parked Mercedes Benz from Osterode in Försterstieg Langelsheim / OT Hahausen while reversing. The incident resulted in property damage of approximately 1,000EUR.
The unknown road user then illegally left the scene of the accident without fulfilling his duties as the person causing the accident.

The incident occurred between 10:15 and 10:16 on 17.01.2025.

Possible eyewitnesses or informants are asked to contact the local police at the phone number 05381 / 944-0.

Traffic Monitoring

On 18.01.2025, the Seesen police carried out a speed check in the area of Lautenthaler Straße in Seesen.

During the measurement period from 15:10 to 15:50, two speeding offences were detected, with the highest recorded speed being 68km/h (the speed limit at this location is 50 km/h).

During the checks, a total of ten seat belt violations were also detected and penalised.
