Witnesses sought after hit and run

On Saturday at around 8:15 pm, an as yet unknown driver was driving a Fiat car on the B 85 from the direction of Gabe Gottes towards Probstzella. During a right-hand curve, the vehicle veered off the road to the right and collided with the guardrail, damaging it over a length of 25 meters.
The car was also significantly damaged by the impact and was no longer drivable. The driver left his vehicle after the accident and unlawfully left the scene of the accident. Witnesses who can provide information on the traffic accident or the responsible driver are asked to contact the Saalfeld police.
