Traffic accident due to icy conditions with summer tires in Hochdorf-Assenheim
On Friday morning at around 7:30 a. m.
, there was a traffic accident at the junction of Westerstraße/Kurze Straße, with a significantly damaged car. The 55-year-old driver lost control of his VW Golf due to icy conditions in combination with mounted summer tires and collided with a house wall. The driver was unharmed, but his car was no longer drivable and had to be towed (total loss, approx. 1000EUR), causing property damage to the house wall of approx. 3000EUR.
The accident perpetrator can expect a fine of 120EUR due to the factors "icy conditions" and "non-prescribed tires".
