For reasons yet unknown, the 18-year-old veered off the road to the right with his VW Golf and overturned his car. As a result of the accident, the driver sustained serious injuries, while the two passengers aged 18 and 21 years suffered minor injuries. All the injured were taken to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
The Westtangente had to be completely closed for accident recording until 04:30 am.
