Kerken - Figure stolen from church grounds
On Friday (January 17, 2025) at around 04:00 a. m.
, a theft occurred on Rahmer Kirchweg in Kerken. Unknown perpetrators stole a Martin's figure, which was positioned on the church wall. A resident had heard a loud bang at this time and observed a vehicle moving away from the scene of the crime. At the current time, the police cannot provide any further details about the theft.
The Geldern Criminal Investigation Department has taken up the investigation and is accepting witness information at 02831 1250. (pp)
