Steering wheel stolen from BMW

After unknown perpetrators already struck this week in Winnweiler (Donnersbergkreis) and Konken (Kusel district), a steering wheel was also stolen from a car in Mehlingen on the night of Thursday. This time too, a BMW X3 was affected.
The vehicle was parked under a carport on Niedermehlinger Straße. The thieves opened the car in a yet unclear manner, rummaged through the interior, but eventually took "only" the steering wheel.

According to initial investigations, the crime occurred around 3 a.m. Witnesses who noticed suspicious persons or vehicles during the night in question are asked to contact the Kaiserslautern criminal police at telephone number 0631 369-2620 (new number from January 21, 2025: 0631 369-13312). |cri
