Traffic offender caught

During the night from Saturday to Sunday, police officers in Weimar carried out several traffic checks. Thus, in Fuldaer Street, a 52-year-old driver of an e-scooter was stopped and subjected to a check.
In the course of this, a breath alcohol level of 1.3 per mille was determined in the driver. The driver now has to answer for drunk driving. A blood sample was taken. On Ernst-Thälmann-Straße, on the other hand, a man on a pedelec was checked. In the meantime, it turned out that manipulations had been made to the bicycle and therefore insurance and a driving license would have been necessary. The 38-year-old could not provide either. Not enough, a voluntary drug test also reacted positively in this case. The vehicle was seized for the purpose of prosecution and the driver was asked to give a blood sample.
