Drunk and driving without a valid license

Gera: On Thursday evening (16.01.2025) at around 10:30 pm, police officers in Siemensstraße checked a 38-year-old Belarusian vehicle driver. The 38-year-old attracted attention due to his uncertain driving style.
A subsequent breath alcohol test revealed a value of 1.91 per mille. Furthermore, he could not show a valid driving license. He was taken to a hospital for a blood test and his further journey was prohibited. An investigation procedure for drunk driving and driving without a license has been initiated. (AK)
