Minor property damage occurred to the ship in the form of large-scale paint abrasions on the starboard bow. At the lock control system, a rubbing timber tore from its anchorage and the first dolphin bundle, including the lighting, suffered severe damage. Debris was scattered in the fore harbor. Employees of the Waterways and Shipping Office collected it.
The BG-Verkehr ordered a travel ban until class confirmation. There were no personal injuries, no water intrusion, and no leaking operating materials. The investigations of the Brunsbüttel water police station are ongoing.
