Traffic accident with property damage under the influence of narcotics

On 17.01.2025 at around 22:05, there was a traffic accident with property damage on the L 27 between the towns of Groß Teetzleben and Altentreptow. The 54-year-old German driver of a Mercedes Benz Sprinter was driving from Groß Teetzleben towards Altentreptow, in a left curve the van came off the road to the right and collided successively with two roadside trees.

As a result of this collision, the vehicle skidded to the left across the road, overturned and came to rest on its roof in the ditch. The driver was not injured in the process, the property damage amounts to approximately 30,000 euros. The police officers of the AVPR Altentreptow conducted a drug preliminary test on the driver, which indicated signs of influence by THC and amphetamines. An investigation procedure was initiated against the driver, and his driving license was subsequently confiscated.
