Driver confuses gas and brake pedal - slightly injures himself in the process

On 18.01.2025, around 2:00 pm, a 73-year-old man from Essen attempted to turn his VW around on the grounds of the Evangelical Hospital in Hattingen. In doing so, he confused the gas and brake pedals and drove over several parking spaces, as well as a green strip.
The driver sustained minor injuries. In addition, minor damage was caused to the green area.
