On Friday afternoon, around 12:15 pm, a traffic accident occurred on the B3 near Malschenberg involving a truck and a car at the intersection. A 41-year-old truck driver was driving on the B3 from Wiesloch towards Bad Schönborn.
At the same time, a 65-year-old driver of a Mitsubishi wanted to turn left onto the B3 from Malschenberg. At the traffic light-controlled intersection, there was a collision between the two vehicles. The total damage amounted to approximately 10,000 euros. The Mitsubishi was no longer drivable and had to be towed. There were minor traffic disruptions during the accident investigation.

The exact course of the accident, especially the traffic light sequence, is currently still under investigation. Witnesses who can provide relevant information about the accident are asked to contact the Wiesloch police station at 06222/57090.
