(BC) Bad Buchau - Right of way disregarded / An accident occurred on Sunday near Bad Buchau
The accident occurred shortly after 11.15 am. The 75-year-old was driving on the local connecting road from Dürnau towards Bad Buchau.
At the intersection with L275, the senior continued straight ahead to cross it towards Riedlinger Straße. In doing so, the driver of the Mazda ignored the right of way of the Mercedes. Its 57-year-old driver was traveling from Bad Schussenried towards Riedlingen and could not stop in time. The vehicles collided at the intersection. The Mazda spun around its axis and crashed into a traffic sign on a traffic island. There were no injuries in the accident. The damage to the Mazda is estimated at around 30,000 euros and to the Mercedes at around 10,000 euros. Tow trucks recovered the cars that were no longer drivable.
