Multiple vehicles on fire in underground car park (Pfullingen)

Pfullingen: Underground Garage FireFirefighters, emergency services and police were called out on Sunday afternoon to a vehicle fire in an underground garage. At around 4:35 pm, several residents initially reported heavy smoke development from the underground garage, which is located under two multi-family houses on Hermannstraße.
This was confirmed upon the arrival of the rescue forces, whereupon immediate firefighting measures were initiated by the fire department. Several residents of the two residential buildings precautionarily left their apartments and were accommodated, among other places, in a nearby sports hall, where they were temporarily cared for by the emergency services. According to the current status, it can be assumed that they will be able to return to their apartments. No one was injured. The resulting property damage to several cars parked in the underground garage and the building is estimated to be several hundred thousand euros. The fire department was on site with 17 vehicles and 50 personnel, the emergency services with 5 vehicles and 20 personnel. The Pfullingen police station has begun investigations into the as yet unclear cause of the fire.
