Attempted burglary in apartment building

On the early morning of January 18, 2025, there was an attempted burglary in Bendorf. One or more as yet unknown perpetrators gained access to the multi-family house between 00:00 and 06:00 and tried to pry open an apartment door with a tool.
However, the door withstood the attempt and the perpetrator(s) did not gain entry to the apartment. The Bendorf police have initiated criminal proceedings and are accepting relevant information on the perpetrator(s).
