Apartment burglary in Herne-Mitte

m., an unknown person gained access to an apartment in a multi-family house on Adalbertstraße through the patio door. The residents, an 88-year-old man from Herne and his wife, were at home at the time. When they heard noises from the living room, the 88-year-old went to investigate. The burglar then fled without loot through the garden in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as male, 180 cm tall with a normal build and dark clothing.

The responsible criminal investigation department has started investigations and asks for witness information under the telephone numbers 0234 909-4135 or -4441 (criminal guard).
