Elderly person still missing

The senior, who suffers from dementia, left his residence in an unknown direction and could not be found despite extensive search efforts yesterday. In the meantime, around 200 personnel from the police, fire department, THW, DRK, and Malteser have been deployed. The search for the missing person will continue today. As was the case yesterday, drones with thermal imaging technology and area search dogs are being used. In addition, a police helicopter from Rhineland-Palatinate will be deployed today.
