Press release from the Peine Police Department dated 17.01.2025

At around 08:10 am on 17.01, a 53-year-old Ford driver apparently drove unbraked into a car parked on the side of the road. The cause of the accident is still unclear.
The Mini was thrown several meters further by the force of the impact. The driver of the Ford had to be taken to the Peine Clinic with minor injuries. For accident recording and clearing of the accident site, the Gerhard-Lukas-Straße has been temporarily closed.
