Friesoythe- Hit and RunOn 17.01.2025, around 5:30 pm, a 23-year-old from Friesoythe was driving a car on Ellerbrocker Street in Friesoythe in the direction of Vrees. There was a collision with another car in oncoming traffic.
The oncoming car left the scene of the accident without allowing for damage regulation. Relevant information is being accepted by the Friesoythe Police (Tel.: 04491-93390).

Saterland- Driving without compulsory insurance

On 17.01.2025, around 11:50 pm, a 17-year-old road user was driving an e-scooter on the main street in Ramsloh. During a traffic check, the controlling officers found that there was no liability insurance for the e-scooter. The continuation of the journey was prohibited and a criminal proceeding was initiated.
