Attentive witness scares off burglar

On the night of Sunday, January 19, 2025, around 2:08 AM, a witness heard a loud bang on Neustraße. He opened his window and could see a person in the entrance area of the business below who had just smashed the glass door of the business.
When the perpetrator noticed the witness, he fled from Neustraße towards Berliner Straße on an e-scooter.

The male perpetrator was wearing a dark hoodie at the time of the crime and was traveling on an e-scooter.

For further clarification of the facts, the police are looking for witnesses. Please contact the Euskirchen police at the phone number 02251-799-0.

The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
