Police seek witnesses after threat in Dortmund-Scharnhorst

During the night to Thursday (15th January), there was a threat involving a knife near Rüschebrinkstraße in Dortmund-Scharnhorst. The police are looking for witnesses.

At around 9:50 pm, a 32-year-old man from Dortmund was walking the connecting path between "Am Bellenwinkelhof" and "Im Karrenberg" in a westerly direction. An unknown male person approached him, who shortly afterwards turned around and ran towards him. The person is said to have held a long knife raised in his hand racially insulted the man from Dortmund.

The 32-year-old fled in the direction of "Im Karrenberg", where he asked a passer-by to call the police. The unknown man left the scene in the direction of the street "Am Bellwinkelhof".
