Warning notice - suspicious individuals are checking vehicle locking systems

In two cases, video recordings from privately installed surveillance systems on properties identified individuals at night checking the locking conditions of vehicles parked on the premises. In both cases, however, the vehicles were locked, so the individuals refrained from further action. The Hilders police station is sensitizing vehicle owners to always lock their vehicles and not to leave valuables in the vehicle.
