Theft of motor vehicles - Perpetrators steal small motorbike from the street

(around) So far unknown perpetrators stole a scooter in the past few days, which was parked on Oberingstraße. The owner had parked the moped (KKR), worth several hundred euros, with a steering lock on a tree on the street.
The vehicle's registration was marked with the blue insurance license plate for the old year. In this context, the police advise securing such scooters with an additional wheel lock. If possible, vehicles can also be secured with a chain or similar long locks. This works excellently on trees and also on poles, if available.
