(Deisslingen A81/ District of Rottweil) Unknown driver causes accident and flees- Witnesses sought (16.01.2025)

An unknown driver caused a hit and run on the A81 motorway between the Villingen-Schwenningen and Rottweil junctions on Thursday morning, causing damage of around 5,000 euros. The unknown person was travelling on the left lane of the A81 towards Singen at around 2:15 pm and overtook a 62-year-old driver of a VW Touran.

This resulted in a scraping incident between the two cars. Without taking care of the damage amounting to around 5,000 euros, the person causing the accident simply continued his journey. The person causing the accident is believed to be driving a white car, possibly a Mercedes estate car. Persons who have witnessed the accident or can provide information about the person causing the accident are asked to contact the traffic police in Zimmern ob Rottweil, Tel. 0741 34879-0.
