Crashed into a parked patrol car at 13:49 and fled

Kassel-Wehlheiden:Damage of around 3,000 euros was caused to a parked police car by an as yet unknown road user last Thursday afternoon during heavy snowfall on Bergmannstraße in Kassel. A patrol from the South-West police station had been called to the adjacent hospital in the afternoon due to a recalcitrant patient and had parked the Mercedes E-Class on the roadside opposite the emergency room.
When the officers returned to their vehicle after completing their mission, they had to notice the accident damage on the front left wheel arch. There was no trace of the perpetrator, who had presumably hit the patrol car while passing by on a winter-slick and snow-covered road. The time of the accident can be precisely determined, as the vehicle system of the Mercedes had detected the impact at 13:49 and displayed a warning message.

The unknown perpetrator could not be identified in the officers' initial investigations. Witnesses who observed the accident and can provide information are asked to contact the Kassel police at Tel. 0561-9100.
