Traffic accident in Altenbruch - two people slightly injured - both cars need to be towed

Cuxhaven. Yesterday, Wednesday (15.01.2025), there was a traffic accident at around 4:00 pm at the junction of Am Kanal/Lange Straße in Cuxhaven Altenbruch.
A 56-year-old man from the Wurster North Sea coast, coming from Lüdingworth, wanted to turn left into Am Kanal Street (towards Heerstraße). In doing so, he overlooked the oncoming car of a 22-year-old man from Cuxhaven, who had left the B73 heading towards Lüdingworth.

Both individuals sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. The cars were no longer drivable and had to be towed. Due to the time of day, there were significant traffic disruptions on Heerstraße and the B73 during rush hour.
