Car break-in at the carpool parking lot in Kandel

On 18.01.2025, at around 11:00 am, a 27-year-old car owner reported a break-in to his Seat car at the local police station, which he had parked in the carpool parking lot in Kandel. The patrol went to the scene and filed a criminal complaint.
It was found out that the complainant had double misfortune. The day before, on 17.01.2025, he had a traffic accident in Karlsruhe. After the accident report on site, the car owner then drove the car to the carpool parking lot to organize the repair the following day. During this period, unknown perpetrators must have opened the right side window, which was only secured with adhesive tape. A laptop was obviously specifically stolen from the footwell and a folder with sheet music from the interior. Damage amounted to approximately 2000 Euros.
