Attack on cigarette machine - three perpetrators apprehended

On Thursday morning, around 01:45 am, residents on Sondershäuser Straße noticed three masked individuals tampering with a cigarette vending machine. Two men and a teenager attempted to break open the machine to access the interior - cigarette packs and cash.
As part of the immediate search measures, three suspects were identified. A 17-year-old resisted the police measures, so he had to be handcuffed subsequently.

After investigations on the spot, it was determined that the perpetrators did not manage to steal anything. Investigation proceedings for suspicion of particularly serious attempted theft are being directed against the three men aged 17 to 25 years, and resistance to law enforcement officers has been initiated.
