With 2.35 per mille at the wheel

A man from the district, heavily under the influence of alcohol, got behind the wheel of his vehicle on Thursday evening. The car caught the attention of police officers on the B48 at around 7:50 pm because it was swerving.
The officers stopped the Peugeot to subject the driver to a check. They were immediately able to detect his "alcohol breath".

A breathalyzer test showed the 52-year-old man had a level of 2.35 per mille. He therefore had to accompany them to the nearest station for a blood sample. The car was pushed to a parking lot and the vehicle keys were secured. The driver faces a criminal charge for drunk driving. |cri
