The recordings of a surveillance camera showed a man who had entered the shop between 02:30 am and 03:30 am. The perpetrator was wearing a light jacket with dark zippers, dark jeans, and light sneakers. Under the jacket, he wore a light hoodie, the hood of which he had pulled over his head during the break-in. The unknown person opened the cash register and took a small three-digit amount of money. The suspect then ran off in the direction of the pedestrian zone.
The business owner reported that there had already been an attempted break-in on the weekend of January 4/5, in which the perpetrators could not open the front door. Whether there is a connection between the crimes is currently unclear.
Witness information can be given to the Troisdorf police at the phone number 02241 541-3221. (Bi)
