Multiple violations during traffic checks around Koblenz

Between the hours of 10:00 - 15:00, the Koblenz 1 Police Inspection carried out several checks in and around Koblenz yesterday, Tuesday, 14.01.2025. The main focus was on speed and distraction in road traffic. In Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein, the B9 (An der Königsbach) and the B327 at Remstecken, a total of 30 violations were detected during this period.
25 of these were due to excessive speed, four road users were using their mobile phones while driving. Another was a seat belt violation. The "fastest of the day" was clocked at 76 km/h in a 50 km/h zone at An der Königsbach.
