(HDH) Heidenheim - Car hits Pedelec / A cyclist was slightly injured in an accident on Wednesday in Heidenheim
At 5:25 PM, a 45-year-old woman was driving her VW on Zeppelinstraße. She wanted to turn from Zeppelinstraße into Ernst-Degeler-Straße.
In doing so, the woman overlooked that a cyclist was coming from the left at that moment. He had the right of way. The car grazed the bicycle and the cyclist fell. The 28-year-old sustained minor injuries. Rescue workers took him to a clinic. The Heidenheim police are now investigating the 45-year-old woman. She is facing a report. The car suffered damage amounting to about 1,000 euros. The Cube Pedelec remained undamaged.
