The aim of such planned operational measures is always to increase road safety and in particular to combat the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances at the wheel. Numerous violations were detected and punished during the checks. In both operational sections, a total of 15 people had to give blood samples; they are suspected of having been driving under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
The officers who carried out checks in the Main-Kinzig district were on the move in Nidderau and Langenselbold. In Offenbach, the checks were carried out in the city area.
