Suspected violent shoplifter temporarily arrested

Police officers temporarily arrested a 36-year-old woman on Monday (13.01.2025) who is suspected of having stolen a backpack and clothing worth around 50 euros from a clothing store on Kronenstraße and then resisted being detained. The woman entered the sales area around 3:30 pm and is said to have taken several items of clothing and a backpack.
She then allegedly left towards the exit without paying. When a 24-year-old employee approached the woman, she is said to have resisted being held and choked the employee. After another employee came to help, they were able to detain the suspect and hand her over to the alerted officers. The suspect was released after the police measures were completed.
