Vielank: High material damage in yurt fire

The round tent of traditional construction consisted of a wooden frame covered with fabric strips. It was used by the owners as a bedroom and heated with a wood stove. No people were injured in the fire, but the family's dog died in the fire. The criminal police have started investigations into the cause of the fire. The total damage is estimated at about 30,000 euros.
