BPOL NRW: Federal Police at Düsseldorf Airport Arrest 52-Year-Old Woman

The Federal Police at Dusseldorf Airport checked a 52-year-old German woman on Monday evening (13.01.2025) who intended to fly to Dublin/Ireland. It turned out that the Munich Public Prosecutor's Office had issued a warrant for her arrest in September 2024 for withholding/embezzling wages, against which she had already been convicted in April 2022.The woman living in Ireland was able to avoid the substitute imprisonment of 22 days by paying a fine of 880 euros on the spot to the Federal Police and continue her journey.
