Konstanz: FW Konstanz: Fire in Supermarket Warehouse

The sales area of the supermarket was unaffected but was still evacuated by the store's staff.

A team was able to extinguish the fire in one of the cold rooms using a C-pipe under respiratory protection. Subsequently, the storage area was mechanically ventilated and the supermarket was able to reopen.

The operation was completed after about an hour. The incident site was handed over to the store management.

The professional guard, the Wollmatingen department, the Petershausen department, as well as the rescue service and the police were involved in the operation.
