BPOLI-OG: Federal Police secure forged identity card

On Monday afternoon (13.01.), a Turkish national was checked in a cross-border long-distance train by officers of the Joint German-French Service Unit. The 20-year-old identified himself with a Bulgarian identity card.
Upon checking the document, it turned out to be a complete forgery. After the completion of further police measures, the 20-year-old was sent back to France. He faces charges for document forgery and illegal entry. The forged document was confiscated.
