A 70-year-old resident of the house was taken to a hospital on suspicion of smoke inhalation. The resulting property damage is estimated to be in the mid six-figure range.
The Central Franconia Criminal Investigation Department took the first criminal police measures. In the meantime, the responsible specialist department of the Fürth Criminal Police has taken over further investigations. The determination of the currently unclear cause of the fire is now of central importance.
