A 30-year-old man, along with his companion (30), visited the Federal Police station in Wuppertal on the evening of the publication. The Wuppertal residents claimed that they were being publicly searched for. Investigations confirmed their statements. Two days later, a former contract partner finally provided the identity of a 28-year-old woman from Bochum. An investigation for property damage is now underway against the three Germans.

The Federal Police thanks the media for the previous dissemination of the public search.

In this context, it is pointed out that the electronically published search photos of the three identified persons must be deleted and may no longer be disseminated in the media, especially on social media.

The Federal Police continues to ask for the public's assistance in identifying the two still unknown suspects. The crime occurred on February 17, 2024, between 11:00 pm and 11:10 pm on the platform to track 7 at Bochum's main train station. At the time of the crime, the man (Person 1) was wearing blue jeans, a dark blue quilted jacket, a blue and white checked scarf, white sneakers, a black cap, and dark glasses. The woman (Person 3), on the other hand, was dressed in light blue jeans, a green winter jacket, and white sneakers. She also carried a magenta-colored shoulder bag and had long blonde hair.

Who recognizes the people in the photos? Who can provide information on the whereabouts of the suspects?

The Federal Police Inspection Dortmund accepts tips at the free service number 0800/ 6 888 000 or at any other police station.
