The woman, who was dressed in carnival attire, admitted upon questioning that she had previously attended a ladies' session and had consumed alcohol there. A voluntary breathalyzer test showed a value of 1.92 per mille.
The police officers then seized the Düren woman's driver's license. A blood sample was taken from her at the Kreuzau police station. The 28-year-old will now have to answer for endangering road traffic due to alcohol consumption.
