Oelde. Man threatened by duo
On Saturday, January 11, 2025, a 31-year-old man was walking along Bahnhofstraße in Oelde at around 9:30 pm when he was threatened by two unknown individuals. They allegedly demanded his wallet while brandishing a knife.
The 31-year-old reportedly pulled out a baton from his jacket and held it in front of him, thus deterring the duo from further action. According to witnesses, the unknown individuals fled in the direction of the city center. One of the suspects has already been identified. He is a 26-year-old from Oelde. The investigation into the second suspect is ongoing.
