Trespassing and Theft

In the period between Sunday and Saturday, a wallet was also stolen from a car on Pfarrer-Volk-Straße. The owner had previously equipped the wallet with a so-called AirTag, which allowed him to locate its position. The AirTag was then found by the police without the wallet in a nearby cigarette machine. On Sunday morning around 2 a.m., a couple on Schulstraße was awakened when a suspicious male person was lurking around the cars parked in the driveway and then unlawfully entered the property. The person was not deterred by turning on the interior lighting and remained on the foreign property for several more minutes.

Any clues about suspicious persons are requested to be reported to the Linz am Rhein police station. If you have video recordings of suspicious persons, which are characterized by particularly good image quality, you can send them by e-mail to pilinz@polizei.rlp.de. If you notice suspicious persons on your or other people's properties, especially at night, immediate telephone contact with the Linz am Rhein police station is requested.
