Traffic accident - Vehicles collide in the intersection area

(jd) On Monday morning (13.1.) at 6.02 am, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Auf der Freiheit / Abteistraße. A 62-year-old woman from Herford was driving her Skoda on the left-turn lane of the street "Auf der Freiheit" and intended to turn into Abteistraße.
When the traffic light showed green for her, she entered the intersection, where she collided with an oncoming Citroen, driven by a 60-year-old woman from Herford. She was driving her car in the direction of Berliner Straße and was slightly injured in the accident. The accident caused damage estimated at around 10,000 euros.
